from the photographer... "Kaitlin and Curt met while teaching at McKinney High School. Their vibrant personalities were what inspired this summery, fiesta-themed couple's shower. The event was coordinated and styled by J.Longmire Weddings. Haute Poppies created bright and festive floral pieces for the tables as well as a frame for the food table. Jenny Hinkle designed signs for the tables that were inspired by the invitations by HappyPartyStudio. Sweet Art bakery also used the invitation to inspire a small cake with bright details. A handmade table runner by MesaChic popped against a farmhouse table to bring the entire look together. Many elements from this shower were DIY, adding to the coziness of the event. All food items were made by the hostesses. Other items added character to the shower including blue-rimmed glasses for the bride and groom, and felt squares for a guest book/words of advice."
