From the photographer: It all came about when I visited my long time friend’s vineyard called The Blue Victorian. It is a stately light blue structure that was built among the vines and rolling hills of Napa Valley. When you are at this venue, you feel like you’re on a romantic holiday filled with delicious wine and vibrant colors. I wanted my shoot to have the same feeling. Like the viewer can taste the rosé wine, smell the grapes being crushed in the barrel room and feel the warmth from the beautiful California sunshine.I started thinking of an actual “theme” to plan around. I wanted to showcase the pretty blue color of the venue and bring in some delicate and timeless concepts. Understated feminine chic came to mind. With so many pretty details, including the delicate beaded Natalie Wynn wedding gown, this wedding styled shoot definitely has delightful ideas for summer weddings! Some other unique details were stunning watercolor paintings from a local artist here in California, exquisite peach and pink florals, and a subtle and oh so pretty cake and macarons! I hope when the viewer sees these images, they will feel hopelessly romantic and fall in love with this understated feminine chic wedding!
