One day he randomly asked me to go to a football game with him back in 2014 & I said yes, & we’ve been together ever since! He asked me to marry him six months later at our favorite park with the most gorgeous ring. The wedding planning took about two years because we waited until we both finished college, started careers, & he bought a house. We got married at Nottoway Plantation in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2017. Nottoway plantation was always my dream destination wedding & it definitely came true; everything was perfect. A couple months later we went on our honeymoon in Paris. We chose to go to Paris because I have always wanted to go there ever since I was a little girl. Just the cafes, the lights, the music, the fashion, & of course the Eiffel Tower, it was always just the biggest dream of mine, & Josh had told me when we first started dating that he promised he would take me to Paris someday. Our most special time in Paris was honestly just walking the streets in the evening, just being there was so magical. I chose my gold dress because I knew that I wanted something to stand out & it went perfectly with the Alexandre III bridge. To anyone planning a trip to Paris, I just say to definitely live in the moment & make sure to take it all in while you’re there. The atmosphere is so different than anywhere else in the world.
