Amanda and Josh had the most perfect night on record for their Nahant Beach engagement session. The weather, the couple and the pale pink skies made for an epic set of photographs. I’m so happy I was able to do this for these two, who have become such good friends of mine since I moved to Boston 3 years ago. My boyfriend (also named Josh) grew up with Josh, and have been best friends since first grade. When Amanda heard I was moving to Boston, she hopped on a flight to Baton Rouge and helped me drive my U-haul for 3 days to move me into my new apartment in Peabody, MA. I can’t thank this girl enough for her friendship, love and loyalty.
When Josh dropped down to one knee on Christmas Eve to ask to marry Amanda, my boyfriend and I were right there, watching this amazing young couple take the biggest step of their lives. You two have become examples for our friend group of a selfless and loving relationship, and I can’t wait to watch you lovebirds tie the knot on July 7, 2018.
Boston makeup artist Sarah Lord and hairstylist Callie Hefferan did an amazing job dolling Amanda up before our shoot. Sarah used organic makeup line Aislings Organics to create a soft, natural look, Callie put beachy waves into Amanda's hair. I couldn’t imagine this session with the sweetest pup in the world, Kieran. We started our session at the beach next to the Oceanview of Nahant, and moved to Nahant Beach Reservation for a pale pink sunset. I had such a fun time running around the sandy dunes and celebrating this young couple.
