from the planner & stylist... "Classic, romantic, with a hint of boho. That's the style Naseem from Naseem Events envisioned for this inspiration shoot which took place in the San Jose Bay area. To be honest, I sort of played off of the type of wedding I'd always dreamed of having if I were to have a really intimate, tucked away reception. The goal here was to create a personal, cozy atmosphere for the bride and groom and their closest friends. I love the fact that she's in a two piece top and skirt instead of the usual white dress."

"There was something so ethereal as we watched the sunset and the wind blowing through the bulrushes as we shot the portraits. I also wanted to go for a more unique dessert selection instead of your typical wedding cake, so there are personal macarons hand-painted with henna design to really add to the boho flair/DIY aspect. The fun part was having two dresses to play with so we really had a blast styling her for both looks."
