Here are some words that Sarah relayed regarding her inspiration: "As a planner, I love to take ideas and create them into my own. This Havana Nights Styled Shoot all started with the wedding dress that I loved from the moment I saw it. The wedding designer, Kirsten Paige, was in LA at the same show that I was, and we started talking. She mentioned her Gatsby dress with a surprise blue element, and I just knew that I had to use it! After doing some research for a current bride's wedding, I came across an advertisement for Cuba, and the Havana Nights Styled Shoot began. After a few months of putting together a mood board and bringing together some new vendors that I have been wanting to work with, we created this beautiful shoot that was colorful and screams "Modern Cuban Wedding" to me. When putting together shoots, I like to find a way to think outside of the box so instead of place cards I had Nikki Hess of Lavender and Sea create these fun cigars with the guest's names on them. They were a perfect touch to the table setting! Also, this couple that graciously decided to be our models were amazing and getting ready for their wedding that was happening the next weekend.
