from the photographer... "Robin and Antoine said 'I Do' in the early spring of this year, on the shore of the Chesapeake Bay, with a garden-inspired affair. Their wedding day was a long time coming. Both grew up in the Washington DC area, but lived in different parts of the city, so they did not meet until 2013 over the Thanksgiving holiday at a mutual friend's party. Robin was living in Rhode Island at the time, completing grad school, and Antoine had just moved back to DC, but the pair decided to date long distance. After graduating, Robin moved back to DC to be with Antoine. They both value family, and we were so happy to be a part of their wedding day to witness the joining of their two families and the start of their own."
