The changing of the leaves and cool air make fall in Ohio one of the most beautiful times of the year! After visiting the Peter Allen Inn, I knew it would be the perfect backdrop for an inspiration shoot. I started with copper in mind, and the beautiful berry colored front door at the Inn.
Tara Fodor, the owner of Farmhouse blooms, filled copper compotes with fresh cut flowers and greenery. Tara, along with her family, live on a flower farm and offer fresh cut blooms for your events right from their back yard! It's a very unique experience for couples to visit the farm and see where their florals are grown.
One of my favorite elements from the shoot was the copper sign designed and executed by Chelsea Colburn. Chelsea is a calligrapher and artist based out of Columbus, Oh. She also hand lettered the ivory invitation on hand pressed paper and copper ink. The gold envelope was adorned in gold lettering and vintage stamps.
Aubrey Gustovich is the owner and artist behind Whipped by Aubrey. She created such lovely sweets inspired by the season. The cake was chocolate and lightly iced with vanilla buttercream and a caramel drip. The macarons were red velvet cake batter and vanilla. Miniature chocolate cupcakes topped with toasted marshmallow fluff were arranged on a copper trays. Vanilla sugar cookies with vanilla buttercream & brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts finished off the dessert bar.
