from the stylist... "The look for this styled engagement shoot was inspired by classic Southern style. It features a wide-brim hat and an off-the-shoulder dress that channels Scarlett O'Hara. Amy also wore a tulle dress in a soft shade of blue with a dainty pearl belt and a rose pink dress with a lace insert. Thomas wore a clean, fitted suit and classic khakis and a white button-down shirt. Plume Events brought in other soft, romantic, and totally-southern details with the bouquet made with blush roses, Queen Anne's Lace, and honeysuckle, as well as the champagne-flavored cupcakes with buttercream icing. Sage Paper Co. created the hand-scripted banner the couple held with a quotation from a poem by Sir Phillip Sydney: 'My true love hath my heart, and I have his.' The shoot was at sunset at the beautiful Pullen Park in North Carolina. Alaina Ronquillo Photography captured all of the gorgeous images."
