Here's a little background on this cozy engagement session:
They met in college. He played the sax; she played the flute. Chris and Malorie went to the Sam Houston statue for their first date but little did they know that Sam Houston would play a massive part in their love story!
On February 4th, they went back to that same statue, and as Malorie turned the corner, she found their friends and family anxiously waiting to see her face. Chris romantically got down on one knee and asked her the most important question of her life. To be his wife. To be the woman with whom he'll spend and share the rest of his life.
Here are a few words from Joanna Krueger (Joanna Krueger Photography)
When we met Chris and Malorie at Hermann Park, we knew we'd get a photo with Sam Houston. It just made the entire session that much sweeter. Memories of Chris' proposal came flooding back, and it was lovely to be a part of.
Malorie was a show stopper in her gorgeous blue dress. The color popped against the trees and sidewalks and her blond hair was glowing in the sunlight. But that glow didn’t compare to the one in her eyes as she gazed and smiled at Chris, her husband to be. They snuggled under a perfect fall blanket and reminisced about their fabulous proposal moment.
