from the photographer... "I was recently contacted by a local retreat/wedding venue asking if I could photograph their venue and some of the wedding items that they have available for rental. I proposed doing a rustic wedding styled shoot so that we could best showcase her rental pieces as well as the venue property that boasts a stately home and a rustic but modern barn available for receptions. She asked her son and his girlfriend to be the models. The gal that agreed to model as the bride has a twin sister who happened to just get married a month prior, so she loaned us her wedding gown and Kate Spade shoes. The groom wore a suit from a local menswear store. I dabble in cake decorating and floral arranging so I put together a quick bridal bouquet and a small simple wedding cake. A few days later, we put together a very quick and impromptu styled shoot."
