Bride's Beauty timeline You spend years dreaming about your big day and pretty soon, you are here! Your incredible fiancé has proposed, and you are now on your way to becoming a wifey.  How exciting!! Everyone always dreams of being fit and fabulous on their wedding, and although there is nothing wrong with that, we should not beat ourselves up over not being skinny enough or pretty enough on our big day. It is a day of celebration.  Your fiancé has chosen YOU.  He loves you just the way you are.  No ifs, ands or buts.  He wants to marry you! That should turn you into the most beautiful glowing bride we have ever seen! Now, with that being said, there is nothing wrong with wanting to get fit, and have your skin glow on that big day! That is why we want to share a little beauty timeline with you. Bride's Beauty timeline Let me start off by saying that there is no one right way for anyone.  I can’t say do 50 squats and run 1 mile everyday and expect everyone to turn out the same.  It just does not work that way. If you are looking for a good exercise regimen, take a look at Pinterest.  It really will guide you with free workouts that will suit your body (and timeframe before your big day!). If nothing else, be glad of the progress you have made, whether you lose 30 pounds by starting 6 months before your wedding or you lose none and just tone up by starting a month before.  You should be proud of yourself no matter what! Before we touch on beauty regimens, I would like to share the one thing that both fitness and beauty have in common: food. The food you eat greatly impacts your body.  If you eat a batch of brownies for dinner, not only will you become sluggish, but your skin may reflect it too with a breakout.  Everyone is different, but usually junk = poor skin & health. Bride's Beauty timeline Do your research.  I am not a dietitian, but I have spent a great deal of time looking up healthy foods to eat that will nourish my body, fill me up, and make me feel great! I know no one really wants to hear it, but veggies do wonders for your skin! They are filling, and you can eat a huge portion compared to other foods.  There are also soooo many different ways to prepare them. Again, Pinterest is your best friend for this.  Find things you may like, try them out and if they are good, continue to eat in that way to make the most of your fitness and beauty regimen! Bride's Beauty timeline Alrighty, now on to that beauty regimen to make you look and feel your best! 9-12 months before: -Plan your wedding day haircut Decide what you will want to do (extensions, short hair, dye, etc) Find a stylist you trust to do this for you! Bride's Beauty timeline Sleep is one of the most important parts of the process.  Without sleep you stress, when you stress, you break out and when you break out, well… we all know that’s not very fun! Take some time to relax, enjoy the process and bask in the knowledge that you two will soon become one and live happily ever after! Planning a wedding is one of the most joyful times of your life.  Take time to meditate and read for personal growth.  It will make you stronger and more excited for this day. Also, if you want to prep even more, read some marriage books.  You are about to start the greatest adventure of your life.  Together forever with this one person.  Learn how to relate to one another, interact, argue, fix problems, etc. Bride's Beauty timeline This bridal beauty timeline can be adjusted depending on what you need.  The best way to keep up with it all is to transfer it to your daily planner. Write these things in to help you keep track of what is going on. And feel free to add other things you may need to do to prepare for your big day. Whatever you decide to do, do it and enjoy it! This is YOUR day.  You decide what you want to do and how you want to feel so make a plan and enjoy!   Bride's Beauty timeline
