However, if you'd rather a quieter location our best advice to you is to head to the beaches located on the north and northeast coast of DR. One of the best things about the Dominican Republic is that it stays warm all year round. This means you can host your wedding virtually any time of the year, making it both a gorgeous and practical option!

2.)  Jamaica

It's common knowledge that Jamaica is home to some of the most glamorous beaches in the world. This location has so many benefits; the laid-back lifestyle, the fantastic food, and the breathtaking views. Plus, Jamaica's said to be one of the most affordable Caribbean islands to get married on. So it's great if you're on a budget! However, as with anything, there are plenty of packages that offer extra add-ons that'll rack up the price, so hunt around and find a deal that's right for you. For example, some of the resorts of Montego Bay are famous for providing impeccable service. However, these tend to be a little pricier, but they're sure to go above and beyond so that you have the day of your dreams. Alternatively, the region of Negril is also a favorite spot- perfect if you're hoping to host an intimate sunset ceremony. Needless to say, there are plenty of options, you just need to find the best one for you and your partner! If you're considering going to Jamaica to host your wedding, then we suggest that you plan around spring break- try to avoid March! This is because the island is way more crowded than usual. Plus, it's worth noting that June through to November is hurricane season. So, try to schedule your wedding date around all of that!

3.) Costa Rica

Have you ever considered Costa Rica for your destination wedding? If not, you probably should, because you're spoiled for choice when it comes to beautiful beaches. If you're looking for an untainted tropical backdrop for your ceremony, then this is the place to be! Whether you're envisioning a mountaintop ceremony, overlooking the ocean or a simple beach bash, Costa Rica is the place to go. It has plenty of locations to turn your dream wedding into a reality. Our best advice to you is to plan your wedding so that it falls during Costa Rica's dry season (December until April). However, if you're planning on heading out to the Carribean coast, you should know that it rains pretty much all year round. You should also research which region of Costa Rica you want to visit because both the humidity and temperature vary depending on the altitude. Obviously, this information is pretty essential when planning a wedding!

4.) Hawaii

Hawaii is a popular choice for American couples because it's only a five-hour flight from LA! Hawaiian beaches are divine, and the perfect place to stargaze with your new spouse- it doesn't get much more romantic than that! Plus, if you plan a wedding sometime between December and early May, then you might spot whales from the shore. The perfect addition to any beach ceremony! Make sure you apply for your marriage license online, and bring valid ID's with you- otherwise, there won't be a wedding! However, once you've got this boring piece of admin out the way, you can get married straight away- there's no waiting period involved!

5.) Bahamas

For years the Bahamas have been a popular vacation spot for holidaymakers. However, the region of Nassau, in particular, is a favorite for weddings. The beautiful Versailles Gardens and luxurious hotels make it the perfect place for your forthcoming nuptials. Alternatively, if you're looking to break the mold, you might want to consider having your wedding ceremony on the pink sandy beaches of Harbour Island- they're just as stunning, and a little different to the norm!

6.) Belize

We love the variety Belize has to offer, there's literally over 100 offshore islands, ancient caves, and a beautiful great barrier reef. It's the ideal canvas for crafting the wedding of your dreams! You can then enjoy a glorious honeymoon exploring everything this amazing place has to offer. Plus, Belize averages 80-degree weather virtually all year round, so it's one of the more practical choices on this list.
