Styled Elopement Inspired by Modern Textures
from the designer and coordinator... "Taking place at Moore's Springs Manor in Westfield, NC, this shoot featured real life couple Ashley and Dax, and was photographed by the artistically talented Jordan Brannock. Incredibly talented vendors collaborated to design a look inspired by composites and colors attributed to the North Carolina peaks. Shades of taupes and grays became the design foundation, influencing design details of elemental textures, such as stone, granite, and marble. Ashley wore a simple, but glamorous gown provided by Gilded Bridal, a wedding dress boutique aimed at fitting modern-day brides with curves. Meristem Floral designed a hand-tied bridal bouquet that yearned to be embraced. Her breathtaking centerpiece dominated the reception table, which was set with stone inspired dinnerware, decorated with taper candles, and fitted with luxe style seating (provided by Cottage Luxe Boutique Event Rentals). Randi with Sugar Euphoria created a cake worth wonders, using marble and deep shades of gray as a guide. The intimate love shared between Ashley and Dax seemed to keep them blissfully unaware of the out-of-the-blue windy, chilly weather conditions that day. Endearing affection and blissful obliviousness shared between the two fueled the romantic ambiance on set, reminding all of us of the alluring grace an intimate elopement embodies."
