"Our wedding ceremony was held in a beautiful church in Leederville. It was the part of the day where we got to experience one of the most sacred moments of our lives to date, the exchanging of vows, in what felt like the most intimate setting. Our wedding ceremony was unplugged and I couldn't be more thankful that we made that decision. No one was focused on taking photos or videos to upload onto social media, everyone was 100% present." "Our reception was held at Acqua Viva Nedlands in Nedlands, a restaurant that's situated on the river, which has the most breathtaking panoramic views. Being a stylist, I am the ultimate perfectionist and wanted EVERY detail of our Wedding Day to flow and be coherent. We wanted timeless elegance, a wedding day that we could look back on in 10-20 years from now and still be just as in love with as we were on the day. I think its safe to say that we managed to achieve that, especially when it came to the reception styling. It was soft, pretty, and romantic, filled with fresh flowers and candle light."

"My advice to all future brides is to pre-plan and get as many things done as you can, as far out from the day as possible, to book your non-negotiables at least a year to a year and a half in advance. For us that was the venue, the photographer and the videographer, and if you can, HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER/STYLIST- they are worth their money in gold."
