CT couple Alex and Dillion tied the knot during a romantic outdoor ceremony under a cascading tree amidst their family and friends. The celebration of their love lasted all day and well into the night, topped off with some amazing sunset photos. How and when did the couple meet? Dillon and Alex met back in 2007 during a business class in college. They never spoke during the semester but a few months later they ran into each other at a local bar. With a little liquid courage they finally exchanged words (and numbers) and have been happily together ever since! [supsystic-gallery id=153 position=center] How did the proposal take place? After 10 years together, Alex was dying for Dillon to propose! They went on trips to Paris, London, NYC and Hawaii and each time Alex waited for Dillon to ask. Finally on her 28th birthday, amidst all her presents was a beautiful, sparkling diamond ring. The moment was well worth the wait! What was your fondest wedding moment? I am so happy we decided to do a “first look” it was a much more intimate way for us to share our special moment and to shake off a few of those wedding jitters! It made for some beautiful photos with genuine emotions. What advice do you have for future brides? Don’t sweat the small stuff! Try to break your to-do’s into smaller lists so that they don’t seem so overwhelming. Follow your first instinct when it comes to picking and choosing. Be happy and smile!
