Papel Picado in Peach & Sage Wedding
From the planner: "When Alina & I first worked together to design her wedding, she knew she wanted to incorporate Mexican wedding style and/or traditions with the modern, romantic vibes popular on wedding blogs to day and she wasn't sure quite how to do it. We decided to incorporate elements like the papel picado, a Mexican papercraft used for celebrations, but use the softer muted colors like peach and sage to balance out the two, and we knew the Rancho Buena Vista Adobe in Vista, Ca would be the perfect backdrop.

This wedding had so many personal touches throughout the entire thing. Alina and I worked together to create all the paper products specifically for her, each item was custom designed. Even the papel picado was hand cut with their initials. Each guest received a thank-you note at the table with a note that contained a message actual written by the couple instead of a generic message. There was no detail left out.
I think one of the highlights of the event was when the groom actually performed an original song he had written for the bride and their big day! I was floored! It was the first time I've seen a groom rap at a wedding and it hasn't happen since. And the best part? He was FANTASTIC! I know we'll be hearing Vince on the radio some day."
