From the photographer:
It's hard not to love weddings in which the bride designed her own dress and the groom made their cake topper... and you get to ride in a horse open carriage ride through Missouri country!
Charlie and Kelsie''s wedding incorporated all of these elements. Kelsie owns a bridal shop in Jackson, Missouri and worked with one of her designers to create a custom dress with beautiful lacing on the shelves, and it fit her perfectly. The groom's family owns farmland, so they incorporated his horses into the wedding. The horses pulled the wagon that the wedding party rode on immediately after the ceremony. The bride and groom were also married at the bride's family church, a tiny country church, both old and historic. The groom's family also owns a tree farm, so we went there to take some portraits after the wedding ceremony. They also incorporated the greenery on those trees into their reception decoration. Overall, it was a beautiful and very classic day!
They married in Jackson, Missouri at St. James United Church of Christ, with a reception in Cape Girdeau, MO at Ray’s Plaza Banquet Center with around 300 guests in attendance.
