An Honest Review of ForYourParty.com: Should I Buy Wedding Accessories From Them?
If you're on the hunt for wedding accessories, then you've probably come across ForYourParty.com. They offer a wide range of products that help personalize your special day.
For most brides, it's these finishing touches that help bring together your wedding decor, and color palette. Hence, the demand for good quality products.
So, with that in mind, we've written an honest review about the products we've received from ForYourParty.com. Here we discuss the good, the bad, and everything in between. Hopefully, this will help you make up your mind on whether these wedding vendors deserve your hard-earned cash!
Sounds good? Well, let's dive on in.
*Please note, I'm by no means a professional photographer (as you can probably tell). However, I wanted to show you what these products looked like in natural daylight, on a good quality camera phone (The Latest Google Pixel). That way, you don't have to take my word for how I describe the quality of these products!
Stir Sticks
Signature cocktails have become increasingly popular at weddings. So it's no wonder we've fallen in love with personalized barware. This trend's taken off because cocktails and they're accessories are easily customized to suit any kind of wedding theme. Whether you dream of having a traditional white wedding or want to rock a festival afterparty, these barware accessories cater for all tastes and personalities. Therefore, I was eager to see what ForYourParty.com had to offer, and I have to admit, I was nothing but impressed. The range and quality of the stir sticks they provide are excellent.Pros:
- Their foil stamped designs are high quality, and classy. You can't tell from the pictures, but when they catch the light, they have a slight shimmer to them. This adds a touch of glamour without appearing garish.
- As you can see below, there are loads of designs to choose from (the examples in the picture don't even scratch the surface on the choice available). You can virtually have anything personalized on these stir sticks: your initials, wedding date, location, wedding hashtag, etc. You name it and providing there's enough room to print it, they'll do it for you.
- Alternatively, if you prefer imagery, you could opt for one of their gorgeous pre-programmed designs.
- Or, if you want to thoroughly shake things up, their customizing software is super simple to use (this point is applicable for all of the below products)
- They're eco-friendly
- They're suitable for both hot and cold drinks (they make a lovely addition to after dinner coffee, especially for rustic themed weddings)
- Plus, they can be used as novelty food skewers. If you decide to use them for this purpose, we recommend opting for the oval-shaped stir stick. They're slightly shorter and have a pointer bottom.
Cons:
- Their online store displays a minimum order of 100, which isn't ideal for intimate weddings.
Personalized Cups
We love personalized plastic cups, they're much easier to handle than glass. There's always a glass tumbler that gets cracked on route to the wedding venue or gets knocked over and smashes during the wedding reception. If you're looking to host a wedding with a more laid-back style, then plastic cups are the way forward. In the pictures below you see two stadium cups (in two different sizes) and a frost-flex cup. This is what I thought about them...Benefits
- They have loads of colors and styles to choose from.
- You can use your own designs if you have something specific in mind.
- They use relatively thick plastic for the stadium cups, so they look and feel high quality. Put it this way, you wouldn't find these in your local pound store!
- Please note: I tried scratching the design off, and it wouldn't budge. The printed logos are excellent.
- There's a minimum order fo 50, which is way more practical in comparison to the stir sticks.
Downfalls
- As you can see, green on yellow isn't aesthetically pleasing and doesn't photograph well (especially in comparison to the other designs). However, that's just my personal preference, and you can opt for different colors or re-create your own design using their customizing tool.
- The frost-flex cup, although good quality, isn't as sturdy as the stadium cup. So, bare that in mind when you're making your choice!
