'The idea of collaboration is a wonderful thought, especially when creative minds come together to give life to a vision that'll help couples with their wedding planning. This is one of the many the reasons why we love to participate in these styled shoots, it helps our community on so many levels! Jerrye Gordon Events,  brought vendors to collaborate together for a BoHo shoot vision. The designer wanted to show the beauty of a late summer afternoon at the Octagon house - (Now a venue situated in the mouth of the Oak White River in Swansboro, NC) Here's a little history about this place; This 150-year-old "Octagon House" sits on property that was originally granted by King George III to Thomas Lee in 1713. This land was once an Indian camping ground - evidenced by shell beds and pottery found along the banks of the sound! This styled shoot showcases vintage pieces from 'Charming and Quaint.' Many elements inspire the BoHo vibe, including a couple of peacock chairs. The bridal gown was provided by 'A Change of a Dress' in Morehead City, NC. We love this no-layers gown, the detailing across the back of the bodice and the lace kimono top is just divine!
