Here's a note from the bride on this gorgeous castle wedding
'Kristian & I both love to travel. We've been to a lot of places together, and one of our personal favorites is Italy (Tuscany in particular).
We love it so much that almost every year we go and visit. So when it came to wedding planning, we knew we wanted a destination wedding. An intimate one with our families and closest friends, we wanted a picturesque venue and a great photographer & videographer to capture the moment.
We wanted it to be romantic, timeless and memorable that's why we chose a sage, blush, gold and nude color palette- then, the big day came, and it was everything that we wanted and so much more. We were delighted. Our wedding planner did a great job; everybody did a great job. It simply became the best day of our lives!'
Do you have any advice to give other brides to be?
'First, set your budget and work from there because expenses can get out of hand when you're excited. Secondly, you have to prioritize whatever you want to spend the bulk of your budget on. For example the venue, catering, gown, etc.
Thirdly, decide on a theme because it works like a guide in choosing the flowers, palette, etc. Fourthly, get a good wedding planner. It lessens the burden on your part (especially if you're having a destination wedding). However, most importantly, enjoy the planning and your big day. Don't sweat the small stuff and just enjoy the moment.
Since we had a destination wedding and our guests came from different parts of the globe we opted to have our wedding website from RileyandGrey.com. It's handy because your guests can quickly update themselves with info about your big day'.
What About Your Honeymoon?
'So for the honeymoon, we went all over Europe again, but this time we chose places we haven't visited yet. So immediately after the wedding both our families went to visit Switzerland which is Kristian's hometown. Stayed there for a week. Then Kristian & I went to Cappadocia, Turkey which is stunning!
Then to Portugal, Spain, Croatia, Austria, Denmark, Poland then back to the Philippines. It was amazing to see all those places! Would definitely recommend it to honeymooners!'
