Sarah and Aria don't have an ordinary love story, and they didn't want a regular engagement session either. After seven years together, Aria popped the question to Sarah at her grandmother's house in South Carolina during a family get together for her grandmother's birthday. He managed to get Sarah's entire family in on the act by having her cousin ask for some photos down at the dock. Once it was Sarah and Aria's turn for a picture, Sarah turns to see Aria down on one knee with, and she said yes! Sarah wanted something fun for their engagement session. They're in fact, a fun couple who're adorable together but aren't afraid to show their true to self-goofiness! The beautiful indoor architecture of the National Building Museum in Washington D.C. drew Sarah's attention, and during our session, they had an exhibit called the Hive which she wanted featuring mainly in the portraits. Capturing a session in the middle of a museum in the heart of D.C. isn't always easy. Crowds gather at any sign of a photo session, but Sarah and Aria were patient and were happy to create some magnificent art. In their waiting I could hear them constantly joking and laughing together. It wasn't difficult at all to capture their affection!
